The Two Alices

Image
“Face it, Levi. You lost.” “Don't need to rub it in.” He muttered, trying one last time to get the cards to stand up. It had been a dumb bet anyway, but Alice always knew just how to get under his skin. Sisters were like that, or at least Alice was. Jenn usually just sat there on her phone, observing the two of them at their never-ending game of one upping each other. “He's right, Alice.” Jenn said imperiously. Alice stuck her tongue out at Jenn. “One of these days, a bird's gonna come eat your tongue.” “That's not true.” “Ugh.” Levi pushed the cards away. “I give up.” “Well, you already lost.” Alice said. “So that means you gotta” her voice was taking on more and more of the sing-songy teasing tone. “Do what I say!” “Alice.” Jenn said. “You're not Mom.” Levi and Alice said in unison. “See, that's why people still think you're twins.” Jenn remarked, laughing as they both looked disgusted at the thought. “What's it gonna be?” Levi asked. Alice g...

Ballerina in the Elevator

Hudson was fed up with his project partner. No matter what, Madison seemed determined to make him miserable. Last Saturday, she had come over so early, he had still been in his Minecraft pajamas. “You can still work on our project.” She said. “They're cute! I think my little brother has the same ones.” He glared at her, but she smiled so sweetly, he almost thought he had imagined the barb. So this Saturday, he told her in no uncertain terms that they would be doing their project at her place. To his surprise, she agreed. “Yeah, your house was a little far for me. But, Saturday I'm at the Clarion Theater.” “What? Why?” “Helping some friends with their performance. I'll probably be done before you're there. I know you like to sleep in.” “What time?” “Oh, whenever you can make it that morning.” Girls were so annoying sometimes! She acted like he should just know what time works! He walked into the lobby and it took at least ten minutes before he found someone. Thankfully,...

Snatched Groomsman

A missing flower girl is a bonafide wedding emergency “Great to see you, Timmy. Oh, sorry. It's Tim now?” “Yeah, Tim.” Tim agreed, still returning his cousin James's fist bump. “Excited?” “Can't be more excited than you!” Tim replied, chuckling. James was the groom after all and he was just a groomsman. “Excited, nervous, freaking out, all of the above.” James said with a chuckle. He had always been Big Cousin James, but had never really held his twelve years over Tim. “Suits are in the other room, uh Kevin!” He waved another cousin over. Kevin was barely even two years older than Tim, but he was a senior while Tim was a mere freshman thanks to skipping a grade. “Can you show Tim” he emphasized Tim as if still getting used to it.  I changed it to Tim like a year ago!  “Where the suits are? Figured you'd be heading there yourself.” He eyed Kevin's casual clothes pointedly. “Yeah, yeah. Let's get ready, dude.” Kevin patted Tim's back in greeting and then ...

Clara and His Nutcracker

“Wanna go another round?” Logan asked. “You're awesome as Ozai!” “Absolutely!” Jayce said, grinning. “I could play Capricorn all night long!” Logan got the game started, but Jayce could not focus on the loading screen of Lucia winking and blowing a bubble with her gum. Something was bothering him. Logan had always said friends could never, ever sleep over at his house and Jayce could not understand why. His parents seemed normal. They let them have pizza for dinner. Even Logan's little sister Kaylee wasn't that obnoxious as far as little sisters went. His little brother had to be at least ten times worse. “Shoot, this lobby's not active.” Logan leaned forward to reset and Jayce looked at the boy in his Capricorn onesie, a few dark blonde curls slipping out of the dark blue hood, his plump, pink lips tightened in focus… “I'm ready for my bedtime story!” Kaylee yelled through the closed door. Jayce watched as Logan's face paled. He turned to look at Jayce, wor...

Easy Bake Sissy

Image
Colten had never really expected to enjoy Home Ec. After all, it was girl stuff, wasn't it? Homemaking, sewing, baking, all that girly stuff. It did not help that he was the only guy in the class. What were the odds of that? It just proved that it was girl stuff. His thoughts on it quickly changed as he realized he had a gift for baking. The teacher, as amazed as he was, constantly sang his praises. If he had been gracious in victory, it would have been fine, but each and every praise only puffed him up more. When the teacher announced that they would be holding a friendly competition to close out the baking unit, some of the other students decided that Colten had to be take down a peg. Or three. Colten got to class early to prepare his dough. He was going to make pecan hand pies and wanted to make sure that everything was perfect for them. As three of the other students walked in, he barely even looked up. Was it almost time for class already? "Hey, Colten." "Hey....

A Hodgson Girl: Last Week of School

Image
Emery was not even sure how he had ended up sitting in the wooden chair. Violet had claimed they had let him sleep in since there was less prep for today, but the sun had still been barely above the horizon by the time he was in a training bra and panties, stepping into a skirt as his sisters giggled and assured him he would in fact be spending the entire day at Hodgson. “And this time, there's no field trip. It's just a day at school.” “It's my summer vacation!” “Nope.” Violet said. “Hodgson goes until Friday and it's only Tuesday.” She attacked his hair. “Ow! Not so hard!” “Your hair's gotta be perfect. They'll do uniform checks.” “I can't go all day at a girls’ school.” “You made it through yesterday, didn't you?” “But-” “You're a Hodgson Girl.” Lucy said firmly. “And that's that.” - H - Sitting in the backseat, Emery's stomach tied itself in knots as, this time, they did not drive past Hodgson. They drove right through the gate...

Wolfboy

Ricky stared at his reflection, barely able to even believe his eyes. With a growl, he bared his teeth. That usually made him feel ferocious, but now? Even his sharp eye teeth could not overcome the humiliation of standing there in Mrs. Chaney's guest room wearing a bright yellow dress. Fighting back embarrassed tears, Ricky looked at his face again, trying to block out the image of the dress seared into his mind. His face looked the same. Bright, intelligent eyes, freshly combed hair, perky pointed ears, his sharp teeth. He liked to think of his teeth as the teeth of an apex predator, even if mom and dad made him eat his vegetables every day. Mrs. Chaney and a few other old people had told him he looked a lot like Eddie Munster, whoever that was. "Bet he never had to wear a dress." Muttered Ricky. For a split second, he wondered if everyone thought Jane looked like Eddie Munster too. She was his twin after all. Thinking about her however only reminded Ricky that he was ...

Swan Lake (Sugar Plum Fairy II)

Image
“Y'know,” Charlotte said. “Last winter was really nice, getting to watch whatever I wanted while you were across town, twirling and dancing.” “Very funny.” “And you were so graceful for like a week after!” “Charlotte, stop.” Jason muttered. “You know there's another ballet there right now.” Jason felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. “Charlotte…” “What? I was just gonna suggest we ask Mom and Dad if we can go.” Jason studied her face. Was it some plot of hers? Get them there and then do whatever it was she had done last time? “Eh, but I don't really know anything about this ballet.” Jason allowed himself to relax. “You had fun last time though, right?” “Sure.” He forced a smile. Charlotte nodded. Was she buying it? “What role did you play again?” “I was… the Sugar Plum Fairy.” Charlotte snorted. “That's right! Good thing you remember.” She softened somewhat. “I know it was a lot, but you did have fun, right?” “I said yes!” She grinned. “Oh, good...

Sissy in the Snow

"Hey, bud," Lacey said. "Since it's just you and me all weekend, I was wondering if you want to go to the movies. We can go see that new Slugman movie you were begging mom and dad to go to." Benny looked up from his video game and smiled at his older sister. "Sure!" He jumped off the couch, but then stopped. "Oh, but I can't." "Huh? Why not?" He gulped and pointed toward the front yard. "Because Connor and his goons are outside. They said they'll pelt me with snowballs if I show my face." Lacey went to the window and peeked outside. Sure enough, they were out there, even if they were doing their best to make it look like they were just hanging out. "I see." She said. "And you think they'd do it even if you were with me?" "I'd never live it down if they saw me hiding behind my big sister." Benny said. Lacey nodded. That made sense, she supposed. "Well, the only answer, I g...

The Boy in the Bubble

Hey, true believers! It's me, the ghost of Stan Lee, possessing Andlat to tell you this is a sequel to another story: https://andlatscaptions.blogspot.com/2024/04/pret-porter.html “Here comes Jayjay Cottontail, hopping down the baby trail!” “Shuddup.” Jaden muttered, glaring at his brother. Ever since what Jaden called the Garden Party Incident, Aiden had been insufferable. Mom had promised not to show anyone other than Dad the photos of him all dressed up and diapered like a giant baby, but Aiden was nowhere near as reasonable. Jaden had had to buy Aiden's silence, which was giving up his boxer briefs and returning, not just to briefs, but to underoos. Pokémon was cool, but not when you were wearing white briefs with blue piping and Marill on your butt! Still, it was not like Jaden had completely taken it laying down. He could not do anything that would outright be seen as revenge, but a careful comment to Mom about where Aiden hid his beloved Power Ranger pajamas felt prop...
