Allergic to Clothes

A story originally posted on my underwear-focused Twitter account Nick rolled his eyes as he got home from school to see his brother Evan once again sprawled on the couch in nothing but his tighty whities.  "Seriously?"  "What? I like being comfortable!" That much was true. Nick had witnessed Evan strip down to nothing but his juvenile underwear right there in front of the front door without even a second's hesitation.  "I meant the tighty whities."  "Like I said, comfortable." Evan grinned cheekily. Nick rolled his eyes and went to his room. Sometimes it felt like Evan was allergic to clothes, but it was the tighty whities that really bothered Nick. Didn't Evan know only losers wore tighty whities? It was embarrassing being that guy with a brother who seemed proud to wear them! "God, even at breakfast?" He muttered the next morning. Enough was enough! "Put some clothes on!"  "They're just underwear, dude....

Wearing the Bride's Color

A story originally posted on my underwear-focused Twitter account "Ow! What the fuck, man?" Brian glared over his shoulder at Chad, who still held a fistful of his white cotton briefs. "Just having some fun. But seriously, dude? Tighty whities? This is Mark's bachelor party, we're not eight."  "They're boxer briefs." Brian said defensively, hoping Chad wouldn't know it was a lie. At least it was just him and Chad right now in the hotel room.  "Sure they are." He smacked his upper arm playfully. "Fix your 'boxers' then." He lunged and yanked down Brian's jeans. "Holy shit, they really are tighty whities!" "Fuck off. My wife buys them for me. She thinks they're-" he quickly fixed his pants and underwear as the door opened and more of Mark's groomsmen shuffled in, followed by the groom-to-be himself. They all started chatting and joking to the point that he thought the incident was be...

High School Never Ends

A story originally posted on my underwear-focused Twitter account Jack sighed as he shuffled into the gym, never expecting to be back at Tyler Hgh School. Didn't most reunions take place somewhere other than the actual school? Worse, he was only here because Mom had volunteered him to help out at the reunion. I graduated ten years ago, why can Mom still volunteer me for shit? He saw a small group of men standing over by an unfolded card table. There was Brad, Erick, even Dan. Was the entire committee just his old bullies? He scoffed at the motto hanging over the bleachers: Tyler High Class of 2014, Renewing Memories. Memories like Brad forcing him to streak through the Homecoming dance in nothing but his tighty whities, Brad smacking his ass every step of the way? No thanks. "Hey, man." Erick said, offering his hand. "Been a long time." Jack took his hand and shook it, noticing the bullies -- former bullies -- eyeing him. Were they remembering too? "We got...

TWV: The Bet

Image
“Bet you do!” “I don’t. Honest.” “C’mon. Every guy does. My brother still has a couple pairs of tighty whities and he’s in college!” “Sorry, Jess. I haven’t worn them since I was like eight.” Jess rolled her eyes. “You’re obviously lying or something.” She said dismissively. “You’re the one that brought it up!” “You’re the one that was snickering like a moron about Davey Conta wearing them in the locker room!” Jess smirked. “Bet you anything you had at least one pair of tighty whities upstairs.” “I honestly don’t.” Why was she so fixated on this? “Then you won’t be afraid to prove it. Right?” Jess got up off of the couch. “Can’t I just drop my pants or whatever?” “That won’t prove anything.” Jess said with a wicked grin. He sighed. She had her mind set on it now, so there was no way to dissuade her. “Fine, let’s go. But when I prove it, you’re gonna owe me big.” “What do you want?” She asked as they climbed the stairs. “I’ll let you know after I prove to you I don’t have ...

TWV: Butterball

Buck walked toward the locker room for gym class, smirking as more than a few students gave him a wide berth. He ruled this school, at least in his own mind. His powerful muscles meant that he could, and often did, take anyone who challenged him. “Out of my way, fat ass.” He shoved a chubby freshman out of his way, just because he could. “Gonna cry?” The freshman just ran away and he cackled cruelly as he pushed open the door to the guys locker room. Everyone else was already out of the locker room. After all, class had already begun. Buck did not see himself as late. He made his own schedule. He ruled this school and even the teachers did not dare challenge his authority. He stripped down to his boxer briefs at his gym locker, still chuckling to himself as he flexed his muscles in the small mirror he kept in there. Life was good. “Hey, butterball!” He heard a voice he did not recognize call out. He turned to see who they were talking to, only to see a muscular guy in a letterman’s...

Get Good

Image
"I'm dead serious, dude. I don't cheat, I just downloaded that training thing and now I'm winning matches all the time!" Jimmy could barely believe it. Was that all it took? He almost squeaked in excitement, but quickly regained his composure. "What's it called again?" "Combat trainer or something like that. I can't really remember. It was like a month ago." "Kay. I'll try to find it." Jimmy logged off the game and went looking on the forums. Forty-five minutes later, he had had no luck. "Damn it." He muttered. "Zach was lying. He is a cheater. Knew it." Jimmy muttered. "Hey, what's this?" He saw a forum topic called Combet Traner. It was spelled wrong, but that had to be it, right? He clicked on it. "Jimmy? Time for your shower." "Mom! I don't need a reminder." He said as the trainer began to download. "Did you shower?" "No." He sighed and left ...

Flower Girl's Frilly Fate

"Can't believe I'm actually letting people see me in this." Abigail muttered as she turned slightly from side to side. She had refused to put on the tights. You didn't need to try those on and besides, the dress was bad enough as it was. The giant bows on the shoulders and these petticoats could not be right. The dress looked like it was too small for them! She slid on a pair of dressy strapped shoes and trudged out to show Mom, dress bouncing as if it was mocking her with every step. "No tights?" Mom asked, eyebrow raised. "You don't need to try those on." Abigail insisted. "And are you sure this is right?" "It looks just like the photo." Mom reassured her, but Abigail had other things on her mind, namely her brother Michael snickering. She glared at him. "Michael, stop." "His name is Mikey." Abigail said. That, at least, got him to stop laughing as he glared at her. "You look ridiculous....

Boy Stuff, Girl Stuff

"I can't believe I let you do this to me." He muttered as he wiggled his nose. "Let me?" His sister laughed. "I used to give you wedgies and put you in a dress. I still could do that. Now hold still for your mascara." "Aren't we done yet?" "Nope. I need to practice." "On me?" "Yep." She grinned and focused. "But aren't your friends coming over tomorrow?" "Uh, yeah?" "Maybe I can practice on them?" "They won't go for that." "Not like you?" He glared at her. "Hey! No moving." "They won't want to do this. We're doing boy stuff tomorrow." "Uh-huh." She shrugged. "Guess I'd better make the most of this practice. Let's get that makeup off you and we'll do a facial!" "Ugh! Ashley!" "What's that? And a manicure? Absolutely, little bro!" * * * By the next morning, Dylan had for...

Tighty Whities Virus: Seventh Grade

Image
Steve groaned as he saw the wet paint sign. Maybe he could still go through? "Sorry, hallway's closed." The custodian said. Steve nodded grimly. That meant he would have to go through the 7th grader hallway, the last place any self-respecting upperclassman, let alone a senior, wanted to go. Even before he turned the corner, he could hear the cacophony of their voices. He groaned, already able to smell the worst thing about the 7th grader hallway: the copious amounts of body spray they used. "Gotta do it." He muttered. Maybe he could just hold his breath? As he neared the hallway, he could have sworn he could actually see all the Axe floating in the air like a fog. He took a deep breath, but he was already too close. He coughed and strode forward, weaving his way through the crowd. Steve was over six foot, so he towered over all the 7th graders. Try as he might to hold his breath, he had to breathe and his head swam with the smells of a hundred different body sp...

Tighty Whities Virus: Kids Table

“You promise, mom?” “Yes, Nate. For the millionth time, yes! I promise that I spoke with your aunt and you’ll be sitting at the grown-up table this year.” He grinned. “I don’t know why it’s such a big deal.” “I’m almost fourteen, mom.” “Oh, I’m aware. I was there when you were born, you know.” “Real funny.” He rolled his eyes. “You’ll be bored, I bet. Your uncle Jimmy always tells a thousand golf stories. And expects us to laugh at every one.” “He tells those stories all the time.” “Yeah, but when you’re captive at the table, it’s worse.” Mom said, her eyes twinkling. “Alright, we’re here. Be sure to hug Muriel before you disappear with your cousins.” “As long as she doesn’t kiss me.” He said, knowing that it would happen no matter what. Sure enough, Muriel not only kissed him, but she pinched his cheeks and praised him for getting so big as if he was half his age. He squirmed, but grinned and beared it. He finally made his way through the sea of relatives and escaped to his cou...

Playground

Image
Jake ached in that good way that meant that his trip to the gym had been a success. He could not wait to get home and just veg out in front of the TV. He had earned it, he knew. Maybe he would even have some of that ice cream he had hidden in the back of the freezer. Surely he had earned that, right? He passed by a brightly colored playground and smiled as he heard the sounds of children running, playing, yelling, and just generally enjoying their lives. He missed the innocence of childhood. Sure, it had not all been sunshine and roses. Rules, bullies, and a hundred other little things still affected the lives of children. He could not say why, but he slowed down a bit to a stroll as he passed by the gate leading into the playground. “Miss it?" He turned to find a woman standing next to him. Jake could not say why, but he sensed something almost magical about her. He immediately dismissed it, but she smiled at him. “What if I could make you a kid again, just for an hour?...
