Mary's Little Lamb

Image
"Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb" Conner groaned and folded his pillow over his head. Not again. Thankfully, the thick pillow blocked out the sound of his sister's favorite song, but he was only at peace for a moment before realizing it was now, like always, stuck in his head. "With fleece as white as snow." He heard as he admitted defeat and got out of bed. "Where even is she?" He asked as he emerged from his room and trudged to the bathroom. He would pee and then maybe go downstairs to beg Mom and Dad for earplugs. How did they stand it? Mary listened to this song like a million times a day. There were at least a bajillion other songs that mentioned her name, so why this one? "There you are, lazybones." Dad said as Conner appeared downstairs. He wore his work uniform and was clearly about to leave. Lucky, Conner thought as that stupid song kept playing from the living room. "Haven't seen you all week." "

Joe's Big Mouth

Image
Joe hated his big mouth. If he had not said that boys can do anything girls can, and better, maybe he would not be stuck here, sitting on his sister's bed in just his underwear, staring at the outfit before him. "Mom, this is... this is too much!" "It is not. Your sister walks to ballet every week in that very same outfit, so you're going to wear it while we go pick her up." "But... I'll look like a sissy." "No one will even know it's you." Mom said. "Besides, if a girl can do it, it should be no problem for a boy like you." He reached out, hand trembling, for the white leotard with attached tutu. Why did it have to be a tutu? "The tutu will help hide the fact that you're not the girl you'll be dressed as." Mom said. He groaned. This was ridiculous. "How do I get it on?" "Well, first, you need to take those off." "My underwear? Why?" "Not very many girls wear briefs

Lost Luggage

What could be worse, Ricky thought, than spending two whole weeks at his cousin's? She was only about six months younger than him, but he still saw her as a little kid and worse, a little girl. She was always wearing dresses and giggling and doing girly things. He swore she had never kicked a soccer ball or even heard of wearing pants. He had begged with his parents to let him out of the annual trip, but they remained firm. What could be worse? He quickly learned that. Despite his insistence he could just throw a couple shirts, socks, and pairs of underwear into his backpack, his mom insisted on packing him a full-fledged suitcase, which the airport promptly lost. He quite literally only had the things on his back. "We'll make do." His aunt said. "You can wear some of Elizabeth's things." "What?" He could not believe what he was hearing, but his dad's sister was just as stubborn as his dad was. Ricky sat there, numb, as Elizabeth picked out

Princess for a Day

"Candace!" He moaned. "What did you do?" "Nothing." To anyone else, including their parents, she would have sounded as innocent as could be, but to her brother, who knew better, she was clearly up to something. "But you're dragging me somewhere. Obviously." "Yeah, to the Vindicator!" She cackled. "The biggest, fastest roller coaster in the whole park!" "You" he stopped as reason momentarily took hold. The Vindicator was behind them. They were heading toward the shops clustered right around the entrance to the amusement park. "Remember last time we were here? You cried in line for Cave of Shadows because you heard it was a dark ride." "I was like five years old!" "And you're still scared of Vindicator." She gave his captive hand a squeeze. "So, I picked the least scary thing this place has." He looked at McGrady's Candy Emporium as they neared it. Was she going to b

Trick or Treat Understudy

Image
Originally, the plan had been for Max to take his sister trick or treating. He did not really mind. After all, he could possibly get some candy out of the deal. Then, she came down with a cold and their mom decided she couldn't go out. Unfortunately for Max, that was not all she decided. After drinking a chalky purple liquid, Max's body had changed, shrunk. He went from a teenager to a boy the same age as his little sister. He looked just as he had when he had been six, with one key difference. Somehow, the cocktail om had made gave him Annie's long luxurious brown hair. Since they only had her clothes that would fit his new size, Max sat there in panties and a camisole as his mom braided his hair and explained that he would be trick or treating as Annie. Try as he might, he was too small and too weak to stop his mom from dressing him up in Annie's fairy costume. "Goodness!" His mom said as she looked him over. "I almost thought you were Annie myself.&

Party Unicorn

"Mom!" Finn whined, groaning as the table of moms barely even tried to hide their giggles at the boy's appearance. "Can't we go home yet?" "No. Your sister's having fun." Finn frowned. Grace had fallen off the couch laughing that morning when she had seen him dressed like this. "But" "But nothing. Go on. There are all sorts of fun and games. It's only a hour or two more." "But" he sighed. "Can't I at least take this thing off?" He pushed the hood off his head, but his mom put it right back. "The theme is unicorn and you're clearly a unicorn. And stop playing with your tail." Finn groaned again. Everyone else at the party was dressed normally and then there was him, at least two heads taller than any of the girls and wearing a brightly-colored unicorn onesie. "And even if I let you take it off, you're not wearing anything under there, are you?" Finn blushed a
